Greenville, South Carolina (December 2022) – NAI READY, the Site Location and Incentive Negotiation division of NAI Global, announced that Broker and Colsultant, Hal Johnson recently attained the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) designation. Only the industry’s top professionals qualify for the SIOR, a professional symbol of the highest level of knowledge, production, and ethics in the commercial real estate industry.
Hal works in conjunction with the NAI Earle Furman leadership team to strategically direct business development plans and design and implement processes to support the growth and success of their individual clients. He also works directly with clients and business partners to ensure the success of their projects and determine evolving market needs. Hal also leads NAI READY, a full-service site location and economic/community development consulting and advisory firm. With 18 years of experience in all efforts of economic development, Hal brings practical real-world solutions to your company to make it completely READY for your next project activity. Hal brings extensive knowledge in assisting companies seek the right site taking into consideration the entire scope of the project and the company’s bottom line. During his career he has worked with many large companies to include BMW, Michelin, Magna, Walmart, Oatly, Inc., Lennox, Food Lion, Husqvarna, and Zeus. Sizes of facilities range from 50,000 SF to upwards of 800,000 SF.
Prior to joining NAI READY, Hal served six years with the Orangeburg County Development Commission as its Executive Director and three years with the South Carolina Department of Commerce as a Project Manager before becoming President and CEO of the Upstate SC Alliance in 2005. He served in this capacity for almost nine years and was named the 2013 Economic Developer of the Year by the South Carolina Economic Development Association. Hal served as the chairman of the Southern Economic Development Council in 2014. Currently, Hal is the Southeastern Director of NAI Global’s Elite Corporate Services Team and serves as the Lead Site Selection and Incentive Specialist. Hal also serves on NAI Global’s Logistics Team.
